The art of MANLINESS had been conquered by many. It is said that there are certain things that MEN do not do, and one of them is CRY! Some have said it is not manly for a man to cry. They HOLD back their tears and fears and keep it all in. Men have emotions just like we all do. Why is it not really acceptable for a man to cry? Don't they have fears? Don't they hurt? Don't they have disappointments? Don't they have failed relationships? Don't they get lonely? Don't they get frustrated? Don't they have loved ones that they have lost in death? Some men feel that crying shows a lack of stability. Is this true? Some may feel that they have to be the ROCK, hard and in place. Men may feel that they have to be the example for men and boys everywhere.
WHEN IS IT OKAY FOR A MAN TO CRY? (1) The death of a loved one. There may be very few things in life more painful than losing a loved one in death. The separation of a loved one can be so devastating, and can break a person's heart, especially if it is one's parent or sibling.
(2) The death of a most cherished pet. A pet is considered by most as a member of the family. There is a bond, a very strong bond between a man and his pet. When a man loses a pet, he can lose apart of himself as well.
(3) When you first see the new life you and your wife created. When new life is created, there are no words that can be uttered in some cases. Some men get so choked up, and tears form in their eyes when they hold their bundles of joy.
(4) When you propose to the love of your life and she says yes. When a man has felt that he has found the perfect woman for him in life, he decides to propose. When she says yes, it is one of the happiest moments of his life because he has not only found the love of his life but he has found his best friend.
(5) At the altar as you get married. It is an epic moment. The groom looks at his beautiful and blushing bride as she walks down the aisle into his arms. Everyone at the wedding loves to see the groom shed a tear as the husband to be gets a little misty eyed over his wife to be.
(6) When your beloved car or truck, especially your first one, gets totaled . A man and his wheels shall never part. Unless he trades her in or if it is in a terrifying accident. There is a special bond that is between a man and his wheels. If his wheels are in a crash and is destroyed, it can be a devastating blow that can bring tears to man's eyes. He will never be the same again. It can really sting.
(7) While watching movies. Some will never ever admit BUT they get misted eyed over watching certain movies. Some men
CLAIM that they don't like romantic movies BUT we know the TRUTH. It is okay, men are only human like the rest of us,they have emotions too. These emotions peek out of the door every now and then, it's okay. We still know you are REAL HARD, MEN!
