GREEN TEA~ What can it do for us? What are the great benefits?
Everybody is talking about her. They love her complexion. They love the way she smells. They love the way she looks. They love how she makes them feel. No, I am not talking about a beautiful, sensual woman BUT I am talking about tea. GREEN TEA to be exact. Everybody is talking about the many, and GREAT benefits that she has when used frequently. The more she is used, the greater benefits are reaped. They love her complexion, her color is green and green is the COLOR. Green is the color of nature. It means freshness, growth and safety. Green tea has a very distinct aroma, especially when it is mixed with other teas like mint, or peppermint. The smell can drive one CRAZY, in a very good way. When drinking green tea, it makes one feel good and warm inside. You may say ALL teas may make one feel that way BUT with green tea it is different. I guess I can't really explain it. The only way for YOU to experience that feeling is to try it for yourself. That makes sense, doesn't it?
There are so many benefits to using GREEN TEA. Of course I can not name all of them but here are a FEW! (1) MANAGING DIABETES~ Green tea helps in managing Type II diabetes because it is a natural antioxidant. This antioxidant inhibits the secretion of an enzyme , which in turn slows down the absorption of glucose in the blood stream. It means that less insulin is required to manage the glucose in the blood stream and thus, green tea's properties help in controlling and managing this disease. Green tea can also help to improve glucose tolerance in healthy people.
(2) HELPS WITH WEIGHT LOSS~ Being overweight or obese is a big problem in the United States, actually is a problem for some all over the world. I can definitely be a challenge. When there is a lifestyle without exercise and adequate movement, combined with cravings for junk food and drinks, it can lead to complications such as heart disease, sleep apnea, diabetes, hypertension, etc. Green tea has a natural antioxidant that is fond in fruits and vegetables. There are six catechins that have been found in green tea. One is EGCG which increases the metabolism rate in the human body. This means that it intensifies the levels of fat that is changed and the rate at which the body turns food into calories, which helps in weight loss. Green tea reduces body fat and bloating, helps with water properties, eliminating excess water.
(3) REDUCES STRESS AND DEPRESSION~ Stress and depression are two horrifying monsters that threatens our piece of mind because it can have detrimental effects, it can take lives away. It it said that GREEN TEA can actually help fight off depression. Studies have shown that the more a person drank the tea, the more they were less likely to be depressed. It is said that GREEN TEA is excellent for the BRAIN because it has POLYPHENOLS. Polyphenols help the brain to maintain a steady supply of its primary fuel which is glucose.
