Can I WORK from home?
There are millions of people across the globe whom are looking for jobs. Not just a regular nine to five job. Not the normal conventional job BUT a job so that they can WORK FROM HOME. Many people have many reasons for wanting to do this. Some people want to work from home because it is convenient. If a person works from home, they can save on gas, save on parking fees, save possible lunch money, save bus and/subway fare, save on the amount that is spent on work clothes and shoes, and save on STRESS!
Some people like to work from home because they want to raise a family. Raise a family as to raising their children and not put them in somebody's hands to raise partly or to teach. Many stay at home moms and dads want to "home school" their children, and that is a BIG factor in their decision. Some have taken ill and because of physical immobility, staying at home will work for them. Also some are not emotionally or mentally able to work around other people, they may have a personality disorder that may prevent them. Some are on medical treatments that may give them the option of being at home rather then being in the hospital and they would like to make some money while doing so. Some people have contagious diseases, and some have allergies that prevent them from working a conventional job. The list of why people want to work from home, goes on and on, and on, and on.
WHERE DO I START? Many people ask themselves this question. This question is asked because this "working from home" is new to a lot of people and they do not know where to start. I think that it is very important to do a SELF ASSESSMENT. This self assessment is done through questions you can ask yourself rhetorically or you can write them down on a piece of paper and write out your answers for documentation. Good questions to ask are: (1) Do I really want to work from home? (2) Have I thought about the pros and cons of doing so? (3) How long do I want to work from home?
(4) Will I need additional training to work from home? (5) Am I willing to take a pay cut when working from home? (5) Will I need a home office? (6) What equipment will I need to work from home? (7) What type of environment will I need to work from home? (8) Will I need money for start up cost? (9) Will I need money for a background investigation? (10) What type of work from home job is best for me? (11) What type of work at home job will I pursue? (12) What kind of jobs are readily available? (13) Am I self disciplined? (14) Am I a self starter? (15) Do I have strong powers of concentration and an ability to ignore distractions? (16) Do I want to work full time? Do I want to work part-time? Do I want to work more than one work from home job?
