COPS~ Does one bad apple spoil the whole bunch?

I DON'T HAVE A DISLIKE FOR COPS! NO, I AM NOT A HATER! I know that they serve an honorable purpose. They are suppose to protect and serve the community. I have to say that some of them DO JUST THAT, and what is that? PROTECT AND SERVE. Some Police Officers are very, very brave. They happily and daily put their lives on the line for people they don't even know. They live up to their service and even go beyond sometimes. Then there are some Police Officers that are down right DIRTY. They do everything under the sun that is WRONG. They steal from drug dealers, they rape women, they use drugs, they transport drugs, they sell drugs, they drive drunk, they drive under the influence of drugs, they brutalize citizens, they falsify police reports, they kill citizens, they frame citizens, they plant drugs, they illegally raid houses, and the list goes on and on, and on. What has happened to these men and women in BLUE? What has changed their minds and desires? What was their motivation for becoming Police Officers? Was it honor-ability? Did greed take over their hearts? It is sad to say that when there are a few bad or rotten cops, it overshadows the good ones. Let me say this AGAIN, WHEN THERE ARE A FEW BAD COPS IN COMPARISON, IT OVERSHADOWS THE GOOD ONES. WHAT PROMPTED ME TO WRITE about this are the constant articles that I read about BAD OR ROTTEN COPS. Yes, I have read some articles about the good COPS, what they do. I have even written a blog post about them BUT the majority of the articles I read in main stream media are bad! Sad but true! SOME ARTICLES IN particular did get my attention. The first one is called Atlanta Police killed woman, lit her on fire, after 'romantic encounter'. This article tells a story about a twenty three (23) year old Police Officer named Tahreem Zeus Rana. He had been a Police Officer since 2011. Tahreem was caught one morning trying to flee to Mexico possibly trying to get to India after killing a young woman. He met twenty six (26) year old Vernicia Woodward, a mother of an eight (8) year old, online at a site called Back page.com for a romantic exchange. He took this woman to a rural part of the town, shot her several times, then lit her on fire. A city worker found her burning body the morning of August 22, 2014 according to news reports! Rana faces charges of murder, arson, kidnapping and tampering with evidence. He’s next due in court Sept. 12. THIS ARTICLE DID NOT MENTION A POSSIBLE MOTIVE IN THIS SENSE!

THE NEXT ARTICLE is called "COP CAUGHT DRIVING DRUNK". This article talks about a Miami Police Officer named Christopher Vital who was arrested because he was suspect of driving drunk and having drugs. The police report said that he was off duty while driving his personal vehicle at about 100 miles per hour. He was noticed by the police. When he finally stopped, the police noticed that he was drunk and when they searched his vehicle they found marijuana, heroine and cocaine. This Police Officer did not freely surrender, he shattered a window in one of the police cars and threatened to shoot himself. It was said that he rammed his head against the wall and told the officers that they would be framed for his injuries. According to reports, this is not the first time he as been in trouble for being drunk. This past November he was arrested for disorderly intoxication at a Miami Dolphins game.

DOES ONE BAD APPLE SPOIL THE WHOLE BUNCH? I say NO! There are many good POLICE OFFICERS in this nation, and in this world. THERE YOU HAVE IT. MY TAKE ON MATTERS!
