The Number One KILLER of WOMEN Is? Do you Know?
Are you worried? I know that I am. I don't want to be killed. I don't want to die. There are so many reasons why women are KILLED. It can an overzealous lover. A seemingly jilted ex-lover. It could be DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. It could be an accidental medication overdose. It can be a FREAK accident, that was definitely unforeseen. It can be BREAST CANCER. It can be OVARIAN CANCER. Many women are killed by SERIAL KILLERS. There are so many reasons why women are killed. Even though what was just mentioned, happens to be true and relevant, they are not the NUMBER ONE KILLER OF WOMEN. THE NUMBER ONE KILLER OF WOMEN HAPPENS TO BE A DISEASE. YES, A DISEASE! You may have guessed it. The number one killer of women, IS HEART DISEASE!
WHAT IS HEART DISEASE? Heart disease is a Coronary (relating to or denoting the arteries leading to and surrounding the heart, it supplies to the heart) heart disease which is a disorder of the blood vessel of the heart that can lead to a "Heart Attack". It is considered a life long condition and can get worse if the person does not make changes.
What should YOU know about HEART DISEASE? The facts state that "Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women and is more deadly than all forms of cancer combined", according to The American Heart Association. Many women are worried about Cancer. Cancer definitely kills. It kills a lot of people, a lot of women, but HEART DISEASE is a bigger PROBLEM and a bigger THREAT. This disease causes one in three women to die. Killing basically one woman every minute. LET ME SAY THIS AGAIN. THIS DISEASE, HEART DISEASE KILLS A WOMAN EVERY MINUTE! It is estimated that 43 million women in the United States alone are affected by heart disease.
WHAT ARE THE RISK FACTORS? (1) High blood pressure (2) High blood cholesterol (3) Diabetes and prediabetes (4) Smoking (5) Being overweight or obese (6) Being physically inactive (7) Having a family history of early heart disease (8) Having a history of preeclampsia during pregnancy (9) Unhealthy diet (10) Family history of heart disease (11) Age, 55 or older. For women age is a big factor because after menopause women are more so to get this disease because in part, the body slows down in producing estrogen, estrogen gives protection to the HEART. If a woman goes through menopause early, she is more likely to have a double risk of developing this disease. BUT THERE IS GOOD NEWS. Eighty percent of heart disease and strokes can be prevented by controlling the risk factors.
THERE YOU HAVE IT MY FASCINATING PEOPLE! MY THOUGHT ON THE MATTER. Please EDUCATE YOURSELVES ABOUT HEART DISEASE. IT IS A KILLER. Please COMMENT, SHARE, ADD, SUBSCRIBE AND LIKE. Until the next time. BE CAREFUL, BE KIND, BE VIGILANT, AND EDUCATE YOURSELVES ABOUT HEART DISEASE. IT IS ANOTHER SILENT KILLER!
